Notice—Being detailed as recruiting others from the 45th Regiment, N.C. Troops, I hereby give notice to all absentees from Company B, to report to me at Reidsville the 7th of February.  By obeying orders promptly they will obtain a full pardon.  I am also required to take the names of all conscripts who will volunteer.  Those who will volunteer will receive the full bounty, and will not be required to go to action or instruction, but can join what company they choose in the 4th Reg.  They will find me at Reidsville or at John G. Watkins.  By order of Major General G. W. Smith, commanding army of North Carolina.
